What to write about

Corrections

If a specification we quote is wrong, out of date, or we have misread a standard, please tell us. Include the page and, if you can, where the correct figure comes from. We correct pages and note what changed.

Category requests

Reader requests are the main way we decide what to cover next. Tell us the category and, more usefully, what you found confusing when you tried to research it yourself.

Brands and retailers

We do not accept payment for inclusion, sponsored placements, guest posts, or link insertions, and we do not sell mentions in our guides. Please do not send pitches of that kind — we will not respond to them.

Product documentation, spec corrections and technical clarifications are genuinely useful and always welcome.
